Tim is the state coordinator for the Montana High School Business Challenge and Stock Market Game, two interactive learning simulations offered through the Montana Council on Economic Education. He is also active in several professional and service organizations.
Tim Alzheimer joined the faculty at Montana State University in the fall of 1993 teaching undergraduate classes in finance and accounting. Tim's first career was in commercial and agricultural banking, working in a rural Montana bank for over 11 years. He received his undergraduate degree in Business Education from Montana State University-Northern in 1980 and his graduate degree from Montana State University in 1991. Additional training in commercial bank lending was obtained from the Northwest Intermediate Commercial Lending School in Portland, Oregon. He is quite involved in student activities and is a past recipient of the Mortar Board Professor of the Month and the Bozeman Chamber of Commerce Award of Excellence.
Tim and his wife Stacey live in Belgrade, MT and enjoy their Harley-Davidson motorcycles in the summer months and ice fishing at the local reservoirs during the winter.
