Dr. Myles Watts is a professor of agricultural
economics in the Department of Agricultural Economics and Economics at
Montana State University. He has a B.S. in Agricultural Business and an
M.S. in Applied Economics from MSU. He earned his Ph.D. in Agricultural
Economics from the University of Nebraska. Dr. Watts has been widely
published and has received numerous grants for economic research. He spends much of his time on university service and outreach,
including serving on the MCEE Board of Directors and is also a co-author of
the MCEE Economic Learning Modules. He was appointed by the President to the Farmer Mac Board in September 2010.
